Happy late birthday to Jess the blue furry pincushion, she is now 18 years old. I think.
I know this is 2 days late, but I didn't have the time to do this when it mattered, so yah. ANYWAY, about the picture - basically these are the four main looks Jess has had since I first made her way back in 2005 or sometime, I'll explain a bit more about them.
2005 - early 2008 (bottom right)
Yeah, she looked like a female Sonic back then, originally she was just something simple since I thought it would be a cool idea, at the time I didn't know other people made fan characters also, so originality wasn't something I had much of a grasp on. She could run faster than Sonic (Totally original, amirite?) and could control water, other than that she couldn't do much. Not actually that overpowered compared to some characters when they first started out.
Early 2008 - 2009 (Top right)
Next look I gave her, not much of a change really, she looked like a blue Manic. Kept her boring orange shoes, gave her pants, brown gloves, and headphones to emphasize the fact she was a music-y person. Can't remember what powers she had, but they were enough. As you can expect, she had plenty of transformations she could undergo.
2009 - mid 2010 (Top left)
Third official look she had, some of you who befriended me on JewTube around this period of time might remember this one. Again, not much of a change, she just looked like Sonic and Shadow had a tricky fuck and ended up with this. She looked like Sonic, acted like Shadow. She had a plethora of powers she didn't need (Chaos abilities, cryokinesis, hydrokinesis, something else, super speed, all that), and had over 9,000 forms (super, hyper, something beyond hyper, something beyond something beyond hyper final form, a secret form I only ever revealed to =SpyxedDemon because those RP battles were cool like that, 7 forms corresponding to each of the Chaos Emeralds, a dark form, and a super dark form, and I don't event think that's all), so all in all she was nothing but overpowered. Oh, and she could defeat Shadow in like, 10 seconds without breaking a sweat. I cannot believe I thought this piece of shit was original.
Mid 2010 - present (Bottom left)
Jess as she is now. When I was considering giving her a new look, I wanted something I could stick with and something that was actually original, and it didn't take a lot of thought, amazingly. One of the first pictures I made of this look had slightly different gloves and shoes, but eventually this is what I ended up with. Pretty much everything on her had an overhaul - her spines, her purple accents, her attire, her personality to a degree, the only things that remained mostly the same were the fur color, eye color, bangs, and her chest fur. As you can see, I gave her tits. I toned right down on her powers, she now only has three, two of which she couldn't retain on her own without either her shoes or power rings, she has just a few transformations instead of six hundred million thousand one two ten of them, etc.
So there you have it, that's an explanation of her looks and partially her history. I'm still developing her and it may take a while before I'm done, but still, I love her as she is now. And at least I can create good characters instead of recolor bullshit. I should make a picture soon of characters I used to own or something like that, so you can all see just how bad my creativity really was a few years ago.

Woahz major improvement on final product! 
I still wonder how people could make their Sonic fan characters look original and cool. Because I made a Sonic FC once, and he looked like Silver and Sonic had a messed kid!
